B&D was opened back in1978 by Dave Bubel. The focus was on collision work, mainly the rebuilding of salvage vehicles (total loss vehicles) and selling them at a big discount. This proved to be a solid business model for decades. In 1983, the B&D Repair shop moved to a new location on West Ridge Road in Spencerport where it remains today. 

During the first 20 years, we specialized in Toyota Service, repair, and collision. However, over the past decade, we have also added other import services as well as domestic repair. We have expanded our equipment and knowlege and can compete with the best.

Success over the many years was contributed to the high standards set by Dave, as well as, the employees. Also, B&D has had only a handful of employees over 30 plus years. Customers became accustomed to seeing the same faces, which is a good thing.

In late 2010 Derrick Weaver and Dave Burkhart (both long time employees) purchased B&D from Dave as he has moved into retirement. We believe B&D's foundation and fundamentals are solid. We have learned how to ensure success by retaining our high service standards and doing what is right for our customers no matter what. The same way that he has during the past 30 plus years. We are confident that Dave paved the way for us in the next chapter of B&D's journey. We have the tools and skills necessary to compete in this industry, and know how to use them. We are proud and thankful for the customers and friends we have made, and look forward to many more!
